Family is very important to me because as an only child I was raised by my mom and grandparents and as a family we ate dinner at the dinner table every single day and on Sunday’s my grandmother who we called Mama Bertie made Sunday dinner every single Sunday she never missed one. That was the way we bonded and shared stories as a family. I still practice this with my bonus kids today and they help make dinners all the time. It’s fun and they get to learn at the same time, it’s what I love most about my family spending quality time in the heart of our home the Kitchen.
